THE SUFFOLK PUNCH

We begin our celebration of British rare breed horses with the star of our neighbouring county Suffolk: with its distinctive 'chesnut' (always traditionally spelled without the middle 't') coat and robust physique, the Suffolk Punch was a staple feature of the farming landscape in the 19th and 20th centuries. Sadly these beautiful horses are now considered critically endangered, with less than 500 left in the UK.

Designed to make your shared dishes look extra inviting, our marble sharing platters elevate any cheese or charcuterie board. Create the perfect grazing board or dining table centrepiece for your next gathering with family and friends, or put this multipurpose platter to use in the kitchen as a worktop saver, trivet, pastry board and spoon rest. Our wonderful customers even use them as splashback tiles behind their aga or kitchen sink. It's safe to say their uses are endless!

THE INSPIRATION BEHIND

Suffolk Punch...

For our first horse design we ventured into our neighbouring county of Suffolk, home to the oldest English breed of working horse: the Suffolk Punch! The roots of this gentle giant trace back centuries, with its origins deeply embedded in the farming landscape. Sadly this beautiful horse is now critically endangered, with less than 500 left in the UK.
