When the horseshoes worn by our horses and ponies have reached the end of their useful life, our farrier entrusts them to us for recycling. Once they have been thoroughly cleaned, we sort the horseshoes by size and shape in our workshop. Our expert blacksmith then skilfully welds them together to create our unique and bespoke horseshoe fire pits.
We are proud to say that no two fire pits are alike. If you would like to add a personal touch to your fire pit, we offer the option of incorporating your own horse's shoes into the design. At The Humble Hare, we believe that every customer deserves a one-of-a-kind creation that they can treasure for years to come. If you would like to include your horse or pony's shoes in your bespoke fire pit, please contact us directly.
Beyond their outdoor use, our wonderful customers have found ingenious ways to incorporate them into their indoor spaces too. Placed next to the fire place, they become a beautiful and practical log store!

Your fire pit will naturally rust as it ages, this is normal and adds to its rustic charm! It does not affect the use or lifespan of the product.
Your fire pit is suitable for outdoor use all year round, but to prolong the lifespan of the product we recommend storing the fire pit in a covered area when not in use. Never light your fire pit in an enclosed space.
If you have chosen a painted fire pit please contact us for advice and help with reconditioning your fire pit to its original painted finish if desired.

All fire pits are delivered on a pallet via our courier, due to their size and weight. Please be aware that this will be a curb side delivery, and our couriers are not able to unpack or position your fire pit for you.
