Wooden Gifts Care
Our range of wooden gifts are made from natural wood. Each one is thoughtfully crafted with care, embracing the unique knots, grains, and textures that make it special.
To keep your wooden gifts looking beautiful and functioning safely please follow these care guidelines.
Wooden Keepsake Boxes
Our boxes are not intended to be played with by children, they are intended to be used as a gift and storage box.
The boxes have metal clasps and hinges, take care when opening the box that fingers do not get caught.
The box has two hinges at the back. Should these become loose they could present a choking hazard.
Wooden Tealight Holders
Always place the tealight holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface, in a well ventilated room.
Never leave lit tealights unattended. Even for a brief moment, a lit tealight can quickly become a fire hazard if left unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Children and pets can be attracted to flames and may accidentally knock over a tealight, causing a fire or burns.
Keep away from flammable materials. Maintain a safe distance from curtains, paper, furniture, and other flammable objects.
Our tealights have a burn time of 3.5 hours.
Only use standard-sized tealights in metal casings. Never burn a tealight directly on the wood surface.
Do not burn tealights in a draught.
When burning tealights keep the wax clear of debris e.g matches.
Inspect regularly. Check the holder for any cracks, damage, or excessive soot build-up, and clean as needed.
Use a snuffer or cover to extinguish tealights. Avoid blowing out tealights, as this can cause splattering and the risk of restarting the flame.
Dispose of tea lights responsibly. When the tealight is completely burned down, dispose of the holder and wax safely, according to local guidelines.
Store the tealight holder and tealights in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent damage and discoloration.
Wooden Trugs
Avoid overloading with heavy or wet items.
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use to remove dirt or residue.
Never soak or submerge your trug in water, as this may warp or weaken the wood.
Always allow the trug to air dry fully after use, especially if it becomes damp.
Store indoors or in a dry, sheltered location when not in use.
Avoid leaving your wooden trug outside in rain or direct sun for prolonged periods, as this can lead to cracking, fading, or warping.
